The AAMC is currently seeking a development partner to help us renovate the Armory. The Armory and adjacent Armory Annex site have an excellent location and great potential for redevelopment.
The AAMC has approximately 35,000 ft of space available in the ‘head house’, London Road portion of the Armory for redevelopment. This four floor portion of the Armory features large windows with views of Lake Superior. Housing or commercial are prime potential uses for this space.
The 18,500 sf Drill Hall also has great commercial potential. It would be easy to picture a restaurant or brew pub at the end of the Drill Hall with views to both the Stage and towards the Lift Bridge out the windows on 13th Ave East.
Below the Drill Hall there is room for indoor parking so tenants or residents could have warm, dry cars.
The historic tax credits (20% Federal and 20% State) are available since the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places making the Armory an attractive redevelopment opportunity.
